TERMS & CONDITIONS

Applicable to all photography and videography services provided by Josue Lozada / Dorsafilms.

Booking & Payment

A signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer (50%) are required to secure your date and time. No date is reserved without both.

The remaining balance is due:

• For weddings and large events: As stated in your contract (typically before the event date).

• For portrait/travel sessions: At the end of the session (cash, credit, or agreed payment method).

Failure to complete payment may result in delayed delivery of final content.

All retainers are non-refundable under any circumstances, as they secure your date and prevent other bookings. Rescheduling may be permitted based on availability.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Clients may request to reschedule one time, subject to availability.

In the event of:

• Severe weather (heavy rain, unsafe snow conditions, extreme heat/cold)

• Government restrictions

• Venue closures

• Emergencies beyond control

The session/event may be rescheduled at the photographer’s discretion for safety and equipment protection.

If a client cancels entirely, payments made are non-refundable.

Coverage Time & Overtime

Coverage begins and ends at the contracted time.

Additional time requested on the day of the event is subject to availability and billed at the current overtime rate specified in your package or invoice.

Travel outside the agreed coverage area may incur additional fees.

Editing & Delivery

All final images and/or videos delivered are professionally edited in the artist’s signature style.

Basic color correction is included in all services.

Advanced retouching (including but not limited to skin smoothing, wrinkle removal, acne removal, slimming, object removal, body reshaping, background manipulation) is not included unless specified in your package and is available at an additional rate.

RAW/unedited files are never delivered under any circumstances.

Delivery timelines vary by service and are outlined in your package agreement.

Creative Rights & Usage

Josue Lozada / Dorsafilms retains full copyright ownership of all images and video content created.

Clients receive a personal-use license unless otherwise specified.

Commercial use, resale, or publication requires written permission.

The photographer reserves the right to use images/videos for:

• Portfolio

• Website

• Social media

• Marketing materials

• Promotional purposes

If a client requires privacy, this must be discussed and agreed upon in writing prior to the event.

Artistic Discretion

The client acknowledges that they are hiring Josue Lozada for his artistic vision and editing style.

Final images and video edits are delivered at the photographer’s creative discretion.

Specific shot lists are welcomed but not guaranteed due to time, lighting, or event conditions.

Liability

The photographer is not responsible for:

• Weather conditions

• Venue restrictions

• Missed moments due to delays outside photographer’s control

• Guest interference

• Damaged, lost, or stolen personal items

• Injuries occurring during sessions or events

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or emergency, liability is limited to a refund of payments received.

Force Majeure

The photographer shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, strikes, or other unforeseen events.

Agreement

By booking any service, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
